The Pipestone Area School District is working to make sure that no children in our school district go hungry when school is closed this summer. Meals will be provided to all children 18 years and younger free of charge. Participation requirements for the program are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability and there will be no discrimination on the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at Southwest Park from 11 a.m. until noon Monday through Friday beginning June 4. Meals will also be provided at the Harmon Park Shelter from 12:15-1 p.m. Monday through Friday, also beginning June 4. There will be no meal service on July 4.
New this year will be breakfast served in the middle school/high school commons from 10-10:30 a.m. Also breakfast will be served at Brown Elementary from 8-8:30 a.m. and a morning snack at 10-10:20 a.m.
The Summer Food Service Program for Children is a federally funded program operated nationally by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered by the state agency.

Meals, free of charge, will be provided to all children 18 years and younger. Participation requirements for the program are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability and there will be no discrimination on the course of the meal service. Meals will be served at two locations: Southwest Park Shelter from 11 a.m.-noon and Harmon Park from 12:15 p.m. until 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will be no meal service on July 4.
New this year will be breakfast served in the middle school/high school commons from 10-10:30 a.m. Also breakfast will be served at Brown Elementary from 8-8:30 a.m. and a morning snack at 10-10:20 a.m.

The Nobles County Farm Bureaus “Breakfast on the Farm” is Saturday June 30th at Bousema farms, just past I-90 on highway 266 North - West of Worthington. Fill up on FREE pancakes from the World famous Chris's cakes served from 9am – 1pm. Take a family tour of the operation while the kids enjoy fun and games led by the Nobles County 4-H clubs. Kids ages 4 – 11 can battle for points and FREE pop in a sanctioned kids pedal pull at 11am. FREE pancakes will be served at the Bousema Shop, just North West of Worthington on Highway 266. It's Breakfast on the Farm Saturday morning, June 30 from 9a-1p.
