Pipestone Chamber’s Chili Cook-off
The Pipestone Chamber of Commerce is holding its Fourth Annual Chili Cook-off on Friday, Nov. 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Pipestone Country Club.
The public will vote on three different chili categories: best spiciest chili, best traditional chili and best non-traditional chili, and also on table themes.
Guests will be treated to unlimited chili, a variety of chili fixings, Pepsi and ice cream. Tickets are $7 at the door.
So far fifteen teams have signed up including: Douty Floral & Landscape Garden Center, Ellison Meats, First Farmers & Merchants, First National Bank, First State Bank Southwest, Gorter’s Clay & Dairy, The Keepers, Kelly’s Koffee, Kozlowski Insurance, MN West Community & Technical College, P.E.O. Chapter C, Pipestone Ambulance Association, Pipestone County Medical Center & Family Clinic, Real Estate Retrievers and Winter Reality.
Last year’s winners were: Judges Choice - First Farmers and Merchants, People’s Choice – Winter Reality, Best Decorated Table – City Works Department.
