WORTHINGTON — Southwest Minnesota Christian School’s Makenzie Pap posts up while Olivia Deelstra from Hills-Beaver Creek supplies defensive pressure during a Section 3A South semifinal Saturday at Worthington High School.

SWC earned a 59-50 victory over Hills-Beaver Creek while Edgerton also was victorious by the slimmest of margins — beating the Chargers 51-50.

The victories set up a Section 3A South championship between Edgerton and Southwest Minnesota Christian at Pipestone Area Schools on Tuesday night, after this press run for the Pipestone County Star.

The winner of that game will play for the Section 3A championship at 5 p.m. Friday at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall.
