The Pipestone Area Marching Arrows wrapped up their 2025 season Sunday, Oct. 26 with the annual indoor concert at the middle and high school gymnasium.
Band members performed their parade show, “Toxic,” and field show, “Mirror, Mirror,” awards were handed out and a slide show recap of the season was presented. Band Director Zach Ploeger said the band has been in a rebuilding phase and improved significantly over last season.
“This year, I really feel like instead of just a little bump up, it’s been a huge leap forward for these kids,” he said.
Most improved awards were selected by the band members and presented as follows: Trevin VanHoecke was the most improved seventh grader, Emeli Guardado was the most improved eighth grader, Keegan Otter was the most improved ninth grader, Evan Loll was the most improved 10th grader and Lily Rozell was the most improved 11th grader. Ploeger said there was no most improved senior because there was only one senior on the band and she couldn’t be both most improved and outstanding.
