Marlys Sue (Greenhoff) Muller


Marlys Sue (Greenhoff) Muller, 76, Sioux Falls, S.D., died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022 after a short battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Thursday, Sept. 29 from 2-4 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls.

Marlys was born on June 13, 1946 to John and Geneva (Janssen) Greenhoff in Slayton. She lived on the family farm outside of Fulda until the age of nine when the family moved to Pipestone. She graduated from Pipestone High School in 1964.

She married Johnny Muller on Oct. 8, 1966. They were married for 18 years.

She furthered her education by attending SSU in Marshall obtaining an Electrical Technician degree. After graduation she moved to Montevideo to work for Micro Dynamics.

In 1995 Marlys moved to Sioux Falls where she lived until her death.

She was employed by several different companies over the years before joining Spectrum Home Care as a home health care worker prior to her death.

She is survived by her three children, Angie (Jason) Newby, Dallis Muller, Jennie (Robert) Plucker and three granddaughters, along with many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, one son Rex and one granddaughter Ava.
