The American Red Cross urges donors to continue and keep appointments to give blood. The current blood supply is the lowest the Red Cross has seen this time of year in more than a decade.
Donors of all types – especially type O – and platelet donors are urged to make an appointment to give now to help meet the needs of patients.
You may give blood on Tuesday, Nov. 9 from 12:30-6:30 p.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church in Pipestone.
Donors may schedule an appointment by using the Red Cross Blood Donor App, visiting RedCrossBlood.org or calling 1-800-733-2767.
