Profile
The Calumet Players will be performing “These Shining Lives” on Feb. 10-12 and Feb. 17-19 at the Pipestone Performing Arts Center.
The play chronicles the strength and determination of women considered expendable in their day, exploring their true story and its continued resonance. Catherine and her friends are dying, it’s true; but theirs is a story of survival in its most transcendent sense, as they refuse to allow the company that stole their health to kill their spirits — or endanger the lives of those who come after them.
Performance times are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students. They are available by visiting the Pipestone Performing Arts Center website at www.pipestoneperformingartscenter.com or by calling the box office at 507-825-2020 or at the PPAC box office Tuesdays through Fridays from noon to 4 p.m. or prior to showtimes.
