Gilley and Nash at the PPAC
Penny Gilley and Doug Allen Nash will be performing at the Pipestone Performing Arts Center (PPAC) Sunday, July 31.
Gilley loves country music and has performed at the Opry shows all over the South including the Louisiana Hayride in Shreveport. She has released several singles to radio, two of which went to #1 on the independent chart. Her popularity spread overseas with more #1s in Europe. She has also performed in front of thousands of GIs in Kuwait, which she felt was a blessing of her professional life and a privilege to perform for soldiers overseas. Gilley has worked with many country stars including her idols, Barbara Mandrell and Loretta Lynn.
Nash is a writer/publisher and Nashville recording artist who has performed internationally in over 85 countries while touring for USO, MWR and Armed Forces Entertainment. He has been the opening act for Wayne Newton, Charlie Daniels, Huey Lewis and the News, The Oak Ridge Boys, Montgomery Gentry and other national recording artists.
The performance time is 3 p.m. Tickets are $22. Fifteen VIP tickets are available at $40 each. The VIP ticket purchasers will be able to meet and greet with the artists, have a photo backstage and get a free CD.
