    New Life Treatment Center is hosting its Horses to Horsepower annual horse ride fundraiser. All events are sober events and a free will donation will be accepted.

    This event kicks off on Friday, June 9 with a sober barn dance with an open meeting and bonfire hosted by Diamond H Acres from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Diamond H Acres is located at 1527 41st St., Edgerton. The open meeting and bonfire will begin at 8 p.m. A meal will be provided. Please bring your own lawn chair. There will be horse rides available and kids are welcome.

    On Saturday, June 10 check in for horse and wagon riders is at 8:15 a.m. at the Pipestone Fairgrounds. The ride will begin at 9 a.m. using the Casey Jones Trail to ride to New Life’s facility in Woodstock, located at 130 Dakota St. South. There is no entry fee. This year there will be a tractor show. All tractor entries are eligible for a chance to win prizes and trophies. Afternoon activities will be from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. A meal will be provided and there will be inflatables and other kid activities, and fun door prizes.

    On Sunday, June 11 there will be an outdoor church service (weather permitting) at 9:30 a.m. at the New Life facility. This service will be combined with the Woodstock Community Church. A meal will be provided after the service. All are welcome. Please bring your own lawn chair.
