Read with a Ranger
The Pipestone National Monument will be holding a Read with a Ranger, summer reading series.
This series will be held every other Thursday at 10 a.m. outside at Meinders Community Library.
The next Read with a Ranger will be held Thursday, July 23.
Kids, 12 and under, will have the opportunity to read a book with a park ranger that teaches different aspects and stories of Native American cultures. They will learn a new word in Dakota each week and have the option of participating in a hands-on activity afterwards.
This is free and open to the public.
