Pipestone County Historical Society, in partnership with the Jasper Area Historical Society, is hosting a living history demonstration on the art of sheep shearing. Local shearer, Rodger Olivier, will talk about the tools of the trade and perform a live demonstration of the craft at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept 10.
This talk and demonstration will take place on the lawn of the Jasper Museum in Jasper. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket.
Cost to attend this demonstration is $5 for adults ($3 to members of the Pipestone County or Jasper Area Historical Societies) and free to children 12 and under.
All proceeds from this event will go to the Jasper Area Historical Society.
