STORM LAKE, Iowa — Former Edgerton Public volleyball player Haley Wieck just wrapped up her senior season at Buena Vista University.
Wieck played in eight sets this season, finishing with three kills, one solo ace block and one ace block assist. She played in 10 matches over two seasons for the Beavers.
Buena Vista finished the season with an 8-16 record, including 1-7 in American Rivers Conference matches, with its final match on Nov. 5, 2025, at Central College in Pella.
After the season was completed, Wieck was one of 34 BVU students named to the fall 2025 academic all-conference list.

This marks Wieck’s third time on the academic all-conference list.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be on the eligibility report for the nominated sport and maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Wieck is an elementary education major at BVU.

While an athlete at Edgerton, she was academic all-state in volleyball, basketball and track and field. She was a three-time Red Rock Conference track and field performer.
She is the daughter of Dean and Dean Wieck, and has one sister, Madison.
