COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL: Minnesota West releases 2025 schedule

The Bluejays will have a home scrimmage on Aug. 13

WORTHINGTON — The Minnesota West Community & Technical College volleyball team will open the 2025 season on Aug. 13.

The Bluejays will serve as hosts of a scrimmage at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, versus Iowa Lakes Community College.

Minnesota West will open the regular season on Saturday, Aug. 23 at the Crossover Tournament, playing Williston State (N.D.) and Alexandria Tech at Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Coon Rapids.

The Bluejays also will play in the Siouxland Invitational versus Iowa Central, North Dakota State College of Science and Western Iowa at the CNOS Fieldhouse in North Sioux City, S.D. on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 29-30.

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference home opener is set for Friday, Sept. 12, versus Rochester CTC. First serve is set for 6 p.m. The team plays Western Tech at noon on Saturday, Sept. 13.

The Bluejays finished second overall in the nation in NJCAA Division III, a squad featuring former Russell-Tyler-Ruthton middle hitter Ally Nelson and other regional players.

Home matches are played in Worthington.
