VERMILLION, S.D. — Elkton-Lake Benton versus Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy is just one of several South Dakota High School Activities Association state championship football games set to be played this week.
In addition to the Elkton-Lake Benton versus Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy clash, Elk Point-Jefferson against St. Thomas More (Rapid City) also is of interest to local fans.
Jake Terry serves as the head coach at Elk Point-Jefferson.

11A: Sioux Falls Christian vs. Lennox, Noon, Nov. 15
11AA: Yankton vs. Pierre T.F. Riggs, 7 p.m., Nov. 14
11AAA: Brandon Valley vs. Sioux Falls Lincoln, 5 p.m., Nov. 15
11B: Elk Point-Jefferson vs. St. Thomas More (Rapid City), 2 p.m., Nov. 14
9A: Wall vs. Howard, 10 a.m., Nov. 14
9AA: Elkton-Lake Benton vs. Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy, 7 p.m., Nov. 13
9B: Dell Rapids-St. Mary’s vs. Avon, 11 a.m., Nov. 13
All-nations winners already were decided, Winnebago (9A) and McLaughlin (9B).
All seats are general admission: $15 for adults and $10 students. There will be a service charge of $3 per ticket for online orders. Suites also are available for $750, and loges $500 per session. For information, call the Coyote Ticket Office at 1-605-677-5959 or email tickets@usd.edu.
Patrons will pay for parking this year in gold-designated areas, but it’s only a $5 fee, kept by USD.
