EDGERTON — Worthington downed Southwest Minnesota Christian in five sets on Thursday, Oct. 16, by scores of 23-25, 27-29, 25-12, 25-12, 15-13.
Danika Nordby was 14-on-16 on serves with 16 kills. Brenna Jasper missed just three serves, with two aces.

Setter Leah Veldkamp distributed 24 assists, had three kills and was 14-of-15 on serves. Mia Vis was a spotless 15-of-15 behind the service line.
Gracelyn Fick helped the Eagles (5-18) with six kills and three solo ace blocks while Tylee Kooiker recorded five kills.

ARLINGTON, S.D. — Elkton-Lake Benton went 1-3 during the Dakota Valley Conference tournament at Arlington High School Saturday, Oct. 18.
The Elks (8-16) scored their lone win versus Deubrook in three sets by scores of 24-26, 29-27, 25-21.

Jocelyn Prosch paced the offense in the win over the Dolphins with 14 kills and Charlie Thooft added 12 kills and four aces.
Malyha Slegers and Payton Kuehl combined for 30 of the Elks 38 assists.
ELB still has three regular-season matches yet to play.
