LOCAL: Poker run will traverse Pipestone County

Stops set for both Trosky, Hatfield

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — United Wolf Pack will have its 17th annual poker run on Saturday, Aug. 23.

The event will make two stops in Pipestone County.

All proceeds from the run benefit Special Olympics’ United Wolf Pack team.

Registration will take place at the Red Eye in Sioux Falls from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

The route will follow through to Dog House Bar in Baltic, S.D., Steve’s Bar in Trent, S.D., Hatfield Roadhouse, Trosky Bar & Grill and The Gulch in Garretson.

The entry fee is $25, and includes one free meal ticket. Additional meal tickets are $5 each.

The first 100 paid registered riders will receive a gift bag, and the top-three hands will receive $500 apiece.

Dinner follows from 5:30-6:30 p.m., with the silent auction ending at 7 p.m. and top prize drawing at 7:15 p.m.

Food will be provided by the Turner County Pork Producers and Culver’s.

All vehicles will be welcomed.
