The Pipestone A’s conducted an alumni game on Sunday, Aug. 24, at A’s/City Field.
The current Pipestone team defeated the alumni, 11-4.
The game generated about $9,000 toward construction of bullpens inside the stadium, which will be named in honor of longtime resident and baseball fan David G. Homann, who passed away in 2022.
