The Pipestone County Star was present for the Southwest Minnesota Shootout in Luverne.
This summer basketball extravaganza has grown so large that it’s spread over two days — this year on Wednesday and Thursday, July 16-17.
Luverne High School served as the hub, with four courts going including the in the historic classic gymnasium.
Teams traveled in from Minnesota, Iowa and South Dakota.
