About 50 people attended the annual Pipestone FFA Chapter Banquet and Awards Program on Friday evening, May 9 in the middle and high school commons area at Pipestone Area Schools (PAS). The program included awards, recognition of achievements and a meal.
Awards presented this year included:
Discovery Degrees were awarded to Tenley Caskey, Kya Corcoran, Hadley Fruechte, Tenli McCorquodale, Christina O’Neil, Keegan Otter and Bo Stogdill.
Greenhand Degrees were awarded to Kenley DeWilde, Ethan Faber, Lane Fruechte, Dane McCorquodale, Torin Schroyer, Jolene Smith and Finley Whipkey.
Chapter Degrees were awarded to Mason Fruechte and Katie O’Neil.
Recognized for earning State Degrees were Nathan Sutherland and Haylee Jolitz.
All middle school members were recognized as Outstanding Middle School Members, Finley Whipkey was recognized as the Outstanding Greenhand Member, Katie O’Neil was recognized as Outstanding Chapter Member, and Haylee Jolitz was recognized as Outstanding Senior Member.

Senior FFA members Rylee Folkerts, Haylee Jolitz, Nathan Sutherland, Aiden Hiniker, Mariah Stueven and Hannah Smidt were recognized during the program, as were advisors Natalie Resch and Matti Boomgaarden, coaches and others. Brandi Schaap received an Honorary Degree for her service to and support of Pipestone FFA members.
At the end of the program, the new 2025-2026 FFA officers were installed. Katie O’Neil is the president, Samantha Stokesbary is vice president, Aurora Winsel is treasurer/secretary, Elsa Stogdill is student advisor and Alivia Fruechte is sentinel.
