Pipestone Publishing staff message of thanks

A special thank you from all of us at Pipestone Publishing Company to all of you. We are thankful for your readership, for your advertising business, and for your help in providing the sources we need to bring you the news of our community. It is a blessing to do what we do every week – a blessing we don’t take for granted, but rather with deep appreciation and respect. I’ve asked the staff here to share what they’re thankful for and hope that you all enjoy Thanksgiving and take some time to think about how your life has been blessed, and to share your thanks with others.

I’m thankful for the freedoms afforded us by living in this great country and for the men and women who have defended those freedoms for nearly 250 years. These freedoms allow me to enjoy my family, worship God, and operate a business rooted in the freedom of speech.

Kyle Kuphal
I am thankful for my kids, our family, our pets, our home, the local organizations and groups I get to be a part of, and the love, forgiveness, mercy and grace of God.

Diane Fjellanger
I am thankful for my husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends for the love, kindness and support they have always shown to me. To have them in my life is truly a blessing that I thank God for every day.

Glenda Carstensen
I am thankful that my children and grandchildren are healthy, or have support and care for a health concern.

Donna Wollum
I am thankful for my family including my cat. My friends and
coworkers and my faith in God.

Paul Lorang
I am thankful for how God has blessed me with a wonderful family/extended family. He has blessed me with an awesome wife, kids and son-in-law who all love Jesus and pursue after Him. I’m thankful God has blessed me with an awesome granddaughter, Evie, who only lives 42 minutes from me and I get to see once a week at least. I am thankful for the beauty of the nature He created. This is just a starter list of the many things I am thankful to God for.

My gratefulness runs deep in Pipestone and the surrounding areas. It often feels like visiting friends when I stop by to inquire about advertising. The support and encouragement I have received both at Pipestone Publishing, Faith Community Church and many of my clients to pursue my ministry of providing a home for foster children truly runs deep. God has put this desire in my husband Steve’s and my heart, and we believe we are obeying and serving Him while we enjoy these kids in our home. Thank you! And thank you for continuing to advertise with me!

Trudy Lingen
I am thankful to God for giving me another day I am able to spend with my family especially my grandkids. Also, my many blessings including my good health, job, and living in a small rural community.

Joyce Larsen
I am so thankful for God’s many blessings, my husband and wonderful kids, extended family, good health, and living in a free country.

Mitchell Hamersma
I am thankful for many things but I’m extremely thankful for my family, friends and everyone in between! I would not be me without them all!

I am thankful to work in a profession I have adored since childhood, with the opportunity to impact the communities I’ve served as a sports editor. I also am grateful for travel and a great harvest, especially if that bounty just happens to be a plate full of chicken wings. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
