REGIONAL FOOTBALL: Elks’ Erickson rushes for school record in win

RTR earns fifth victory of season, beating BOLD

ELKTON, S.D. — Eliot Erickson had a record-setting performance in the Elks’ convincing Homecoming victory over Garretson at the Elkton Athletic Complex.

Erickson rushed 16 times for 350 yards and six TD as ELB continuously put points on the scoreboard, including 29 in the second quarter. The Elks had a massive 625-308 margin in total yards.

Erickson’s yardage total surpassed the previous-best mark of 293 set by Eli Swenson during the 1994 season. The prior mark for rushing TD was three (Ryan Krog and Tanner Stein).

ELB (5-1) will travel to face Britton-Hecla.

A home game versus Deubrook Area was canceled due to the Dolphins not having enough players.
