TRACY— Tracy-Milroy Balaton pushed across five runs in the bottom of the fourth, and the Panthers made that hold up in a 5-4 victory over visiting Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Thursday, April 15.

RTR’s rally in the top of the fifth fell short.
Brayden Chandler scored on an Eli Determan RBI double. Sean Griesse then pushed across a run on a Drew Chandler ground out. Tyler Wichmann drove home Determan with a single. The Knights (8-2 before Monday’s doubleheader) were set down in order in both the sixth and seventh innings.
Wichmann absorbed the loss, throwing four innings with the following linescore: five earned runs, nine hits, no walks and three strikeouts. Alex Munson was the winner for TMB — with Jackson Kruse, Noah Knakmuhs and Taylor Squires rapping out two hits each.
Softball
Wabasso 8, Edgerton/SWC 2
EDGERTON — In a thrilling non-league game, Wabasso scored six times in the top of the 10th to beat Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian on Tuesday, April 15.
Elliott Fleischman belted a two-run home run in the first inning only to see Wabasso respond with two runs in the third. The teams traded zeros until the 10th frame.

Cathryn Feikema doubled and went 3-for-4 hitting. Addie Nibbelink, Kya Voge and Presley Van Dyke also rapped out hits for Edgerton/SWC.
Feikema allowed eight runs (seven earned) on 10 hits while walking four and striking out four, taking the hard-luck loss inside the circle. She threw 133 pitches, 89 of them for strikes (67 percent).
Elkton-Lake Benton 17, Chamberlain 11
COLMAN, S.D. — Payton Kuehl homered and doubled as Elkton-Lake Benton picked up its first victory of the season, beating Chamberlain at Field of Dreams Thursday, April 17.

The Elks pushed across eight runs in the top of the fifth.
Kuehl was 3-for-3 with six RBI and two runs scored.
Maddie Jensen plated three runs, and Maya Jensen doubled as part of a 3-for-4 hitting performance. Jalyn Frerichs earned the win, striking out six in five innings of work.
