Richard R. Carson, 87, died Sunday, April 28, 2024, from natural causes.
Memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 19, at noon at the Bradshaw Funeral Home, 3131 Minnehaha Ave., Minneapolis, Minn. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.
Memorial gifts are suggested to Salvation Army, St. Paul, Minn.
Richard was born Oct. 23, 1936 in Pipestone to Stuart and Una Belle Carson.
He graduated from Pipestone High School and the University of Minnesota earning a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
His life changes and he became whole in 1972 when he married his beloved wife Beverly.
He worked for 3M for over 33 years in various departments of the Chemical Division.
He was a lifelong Presbyterian and was a member of Westminster, Minneapolis and, in later years, First Presbyterian, So. St. Paul.
He is survived by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Beverly, and a brother Robert.
