EDGERTON — Results from the Rock River Rodeo Days event on Saturday, Aug. 16, have been released.
Chaz Carda from Hartford, S.D., was tops in bull riding, with Keagan Deuschle, a contestant from Iowa, second.

John Thelen from Pierre, S.D., was the overall saddle bronc champion.
Owen Mason, of Cannon Falls, took top honors in the ranch bronc competition.
Scores from bull riding, saddle bronc and ranch bronc were not provided to The Pipestone County Star.
Ranch bronc and saddle bronc are not the same.
In ranch bronc riding, the contestant uses a standard working saddle and rides may use both hands. There is a special saddle with a free-swinging stirrup and single rein, with riders using one hand, in saddle bronc.
Pipestone’s Josey Fey, aboard O So Country, took the garland in the barrel racing contest with a ride of 18.397 seconds.

Hatty Fey, on O So Frosted, was second at 18.445 and Tessa Bucher (Rebel) took third 18.660.
The following other riders qualified for the final barrel racing run: Kaylee Hieronimus, Taylor Heyer, Teagan Fischer, Aleah Marco, Kamryn Chapman, Jackie Feikema, Megan Rosendahl, Kellie Van Der Brink and Bethany Keller.
Becky Christensen, a contestant from St. James, was the reported winner of the breakaway roping in a time of 8.62.
Kaitlyn Coulter, Josie Poppens, Cheyenne VandeStouwe and Emma Poppens also recorded strong breakaway times.
Variable weather made for changeable conditions throughout the two-day event, which included barrel racing and breakaway qualifiers.
