So long liberal Minnesota

TO THE EDITOR:
How does one become the chair of a party that no longer exists? The sad truth is the DFL was mortally wounded in November of 1963, went into hospice in 2016 and passed away in 2020.

But thank you Mr. Koets for giving me the reason to let my friends in the community know why I’m letting go of my family home with all its good memories and history, 124 years of it, great-grandparents, grandparents, mother and father, and moving to the free state of South Dakota. It’s because of people like you. That’s why.

I have not read the Big Beautiful Bill, but if you are quoting some information you got from the Star Tribune, you have no point at all. I didn’t read Biden’s Build Back Better either, but I do know how it turned out.

Nice float the DFL had in the Water Tower parade, a guy in an Uncle Sam outfit wearing a Donald Trump mask. Fishing for Mexicans with tacos as bait? Not sure if that was the message but we haven’t seen racial profiling like that since Biden told them if they didn’t vote for him “You ain’t Black.” But that’s a Liberal for you, offended by everything, embarrassed by nothing.

I could fill an entire page with the hypocrisy of the Democrat party, but I’ll try to keep it short.

The Great Society was born 60 years ago, yet the people who it was suppose to help are in worse shape than they were after reconstruction. What’s the matter? The big plan just not working? Need a little more time? A little more money? A little more power maybe? Or is it, like I’ve come to the conclusion, it’s working like LBJ and the boys planned it. Keep them in their place and the DFL can put their Super Hero capes on and actually act like they give a damn.

Ever notice how in every letter to the editor Liberals follow this exact routine, first they try to dazzle you with “facts,” then they condescendingly explain how wrong your point of view is, then comes the back handed insult.

So according to you only Democrats care about the welfare of other people? You said “Some of us wish it for everybody.” Now last week’s letter said something about primary education and the Boston Tea Party. Are you trying to start an insurrection? Kind of like the swamp did to President Trump? Taxation without representation? What did you call it when in 2023 Minnesota had a 17 billion dollar surplus and six months later it was gone? Now they project an almost $6 billion deficit for next year. I wonder where they will get that money from.

Like I said I could fill a page, but I will say the happiest day of my life will be when I see the Minnesota state line for the last time as a citizen and a taxpayer knowing not a dime of my tax dollars will go to offering up infants to dark Lord Moloch or sterilizing and mutilating groomed or mentally ill preteens and calling it “Gender Affirming Health Care.”
